Jen Wen Luoh
An INFJ, Jen is an idealist, an artistic scientist and a globetrotter. Jen is passionate about the people and the world we live in. Her take on life is based on her Christian faith and identifies with these words from the Big Book, “He has showed you, O man, what is good. And what does the LORD require of you? To act justly and to love mercy and to walk humbly with your God.” (Micah 6:8 NIV) Jen’s “walk with God” has brought her to unexpected places, from picking cucumbers on an organic farm to riding the night buses across thriving European cities, from the Canadian suburbia to rural villages in Africa. “Every waking and sleeping moment is a learning experience.” sums up Jen’s motto. Her most memorable lessons on life and death were learned in the little village of Usolanga, Tanzania where she worked as a Community Nutrition Worker. Holding a B.Sc. in Human Nutrition, a minor in International Development and a M. Sc. in Environmental Assessment from McGill University, Jen continues to be a learner in life.
Her ability to write was discovered by her eighth grade English teacher when she stumbled upon Jen’s short story assignment. After years of solely academic papers, she has decided to rediscover and explore her potentials as a writer. She blogs at http://www.proceedingwithgrace.com.
Apart from writing, Jen is an amateur photographer, an artist, a food-enthusiast, an environment-lover and a bona fide book worm.
Jen has recently been uprooted from Montreal, Quebec and temporarily planted in Tainan, Taiwan. Going east!
